Laptop screen problem - corrupted graphics/display/pixels??

HI,

Laptop screen problem - corrupted graphics/display/pixels??-acer-laptop-screen-fault-corrupted-pixels-maybe-21nov15.jpg

This event has happened twice over the past couple of days. I have no idea what causes the problem except that on each time where it corrupted the desktop screen, I had just closed an open internet page to return to my desktop.

I'm not sure if it's a technical issue with the laptop screen, or perhaps something failing in my display or graphics card.

Any idea?
